Kudzai Mutasa

Zimbabwean Visual Artist, Kudzai Blessing Mutasa made her way to the United States at age 4 and has found a way to share her talents and experiences to inspire others. Her life’s mission is to celebrate the black female experience by inspiring Women and creating beauty products for ALL as a Beauty Director. Kudzai has a way of connecting with her audience in a genuine way.

Her work blurs the line between painting and relief sculpture. She was classically trained by a portrait painter and now uses mixed media creating 3D elements that remain attached to a 2D background. In her collection of nature-inspired scenes she artistically transforms ordinary material to create intricate layers that invite viewers into the painting.

She is a four-time Semi-Finalist Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series, selected exhibitions include DuSable Museum, Macys Herald Square - New York, Essence Music Festival, and National Black Fine Art Show, New York.
